+P Gold Dot short barrel for carry. Handload for practice. If you use +P for practice, you likely won't be practicing enough. They ain't fun out of the lightweights.

340PD w/crimson trace is my CCW with +P
loaded weight is just over 13oz

no problems hitting a pie plate at 10yd with full house .357
but for weak hand shooting... there's no way... that's why I carry +P.

everyone's comfort level is different.
what counts is which loads can you reliably hit a pie plate at 7-10 yds.

I agree w/ the comments on the comfort and acuracy,Thats why I am looking for advice from fellow members that use this combo on a good starting point. I also agree that the +P is probably a healthy load for that light of a pistol. There are just alot of choices on ammo out there and this is my first
.38 so I am trying to limit how many different types I buy to try .
