Got a good laugh at the stamped, butthole stock MAK-90 that was up on armslist just last night at over $1200. That's a great rifle, but $550-$650 all day long, until something stupid happens. Passed on my elusive Sa-85m at the Wannie show for $675 (shouldn't have), because it should have been a bit cheaper, and just missed a nice, square cut stamped MAK here on the forums just before the Newtown incident. I'm not too concerned; I've got some nice stuff - I was just wanting to add a couple of different variants to the collection. AKs have been hit hard, too - as mentioned, they're even trying to sell $500 WASRs for over a grand. AK mags have become scarce, as has the ammo for them. You can look back at all of my posts warning of the end times for cheap, steel cased 7.62x39 imported ammo. I've felt this way for a while, and have acted accordingly. I know of a few places that are supposed to have more back in stock after the first of the year, and if the prices don't jump to double-dumbass levels, I may add another case. As it is, I'm sitting OK. But more is better, unless you're getting scalped.
