Well its not really a problem, more of an annoyance. After my most recent payment, I now owe Ms. Sallie a grand total of $0.23 in student loans. Yes yes, go me. I have tried to pay that online but when I do I get an error saying that my payment must be at least $1.00 When I tried to make a payment of $1.00, it gave an error saying I could not overpay my outstanding principal. Go figure. I will have to wait until Monday to call them. Does anyone here know if Sallie Mae will do a small balance write-off? that's what I was going to ask for but didn't want to waste my time on whatever government ******* I happened to get on the phone. I suppose I could mail in a check for twenty-three cents but that seems kind of wasteful for both me and them. I am sure it will cost a helluva lot more to process the payment than the payment actually is. Anyone got any idea on this?
