So, I've been thinking about this a lot lately and I honestly can't come up with a good answer. I think at this point everyone jokes about Romney and Obama being the same, but I literally can't tell which one is more dangerous, so the determining factors sort of fall into their environment a little for me personally. Part of it has to do with the fact that Obama will be lame-duck pretty much a year into this next election, so we can bet he'll be paying off some favors. But part of me wants him to win so that all the tax-increases he F!@#$ed the American people with will come to fruition on his watch (and people don't get angry with the GOP over "all these new taxes"). I honestly think that if Obama was in his first term, I'd be more inclined to vote for him vs a Lame-duck Romney (I predict even the GOP will be come upset with what Romney has in store for our country). So, if it were a Lame-Duck Romney vs. a New Obama, would that change your vote? What if it was a first-term Obama vs. a first-term Romney? Congress is split as such: House: 241-R / 191-D (with 3 vacancies) Senate: 47-R / 53-D (with 2 Independents) If Congress made the swing to all Republican, would I feel better about having Obama as president than Romney (keeping in mind how much power Romney would have at that point)? I think I might actually. If Congress made the swing to all Democrat, would I feel better about having Romney as president? I don't know that I feel comfortable with the Dems even having that much control over our law-making. I'm going to be honest - a real Dem (not a Rhino) pres with a Republican house/senate sounds pretty good right about now. What say you? Here's some interesting stuff to think about: http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/0/0d/Control_of_the_U.S._Senate.PNG/500px-Control_of_the_U.S._Senate.PNG
