It has already been repainted. The texture of the patch is much rougher than the texture of the original. It looks like crap and unfortunately I need to fix it myself. Can the rougher texture be sanded somehow until it resembles the original or would it be easier to apply another coat of joint compound and smooth it out a little more. I'll have to repaint the entire kitchen ceiling in any case. Thanks</p></blockquote><p></p>
