Oh, what the heck. I might as well chime in here. First of all, read the quote in my signature line about voting based on one criteria. In one sense, Obama has been a blessing (but mostly a curse to the normal folks.) He and his administration and the Democrats in Obama's first two years put into effect just about everything that the Left has said would be great for this country. What Obama didn't get done in those first two years, he's put some into effect with executive orders. However, in spite of all the "good" that was supposed to come about because of liberal beliefs, they have pretty much all been proven to be false. As I predicted elsewhere, the liberals are now out there saying that the reason the Stimulus didn't work was because they "just didn't spend enough." (That quote is a familiar refrain.) The "blessing" is that now the left has been proven wrong with regards to the Keynesian philosophy of economics and that in spite of all they tried to do, all we have for it is more government debt. So, as another question, why don't you lefties give us a dollar number of how much it will take to "fix" things. For those interested, look into Obama's executive orders. I know of at least two times that he has stated that he would "work around Congress." As for Carter, one of his actions was to start the ball rolling that ended up with the sub-prime loan collapse. His administration created the law that saw to it that people who couldn't afford them were given home loans. So, "No" to the question as to whether Carter was a pretty good president. We also had fuel rationing then as well.
