Seems to be working out for me. Time will be the real test, though...
But, I like having the middle piece as a mobile cleaning kit. Can clean my weapons when warm while my buddy does his brass fishin'.

I use the large Shooter's Connection range bag. It holds everything I need and is STURDY!! I guarantee this is the best built bag on the market. It has been all over the U.S. to shooting competitions and has stood up to my abuse. My cheap Midway bag didn't last three months before it started falling apart.

I got a Blackhawk Sportster bag at Sports World for $49 ? about 18 months ago I am very pleased with it
can hold 3 handguns, 2 sets headphone type ear protection, inside main compartment is a pocket for spare mags
it will hold about 12 boxes of 50 ea. .45 acp ammo

Midway bag here, the Husky bag on rollers make me drool though. I love my bag but i put so much stuff in it ive thought more than once that I needed rollers.
