I did some distance shooting this past weekend at 700 yards and damn it was fun. The bushnell range finder I currently own is only good out to 450 yd...i really need something that will go out to 1000 yd. Any advice is appreciated thanks.

I use a Bushnell elite 1500 and don't seem to have any problems with it. It's easy to use one-handed and good from 5-1600 yards.

I use the Sig Kilo 2000. It’s now an older model but it does the job past 1000 yards. I’ve ranged antelope past 1400 yards and reflective objects past 1800 yards. It has a fast scan mode that allows for fast ranging on distance objects if you can’t hold the range finder steady. The newer models are the Kilo 2200 and Kilo 2400.

I also bought the LRI tripod mount for it. https://www.longriflesinc.com/collections/products/products/lri-sig-kilo-2000-tripod-mount

You get out to distance, you need a steady base. I'm interested about what people are using 1,000 +. I laser mine by going out to (300yds) then laser out another 300..etc., till I get to my target. How accurate that is I don't know.
I use a large reflective stop sign for a good reflective.
