[QUOTE="TerryMiller, post: 4348879, member: 7900"] My wife has been doing this for years. She goes in once a month and sets up a schedule with our banking service for each bill to be paid. They are always set up to be paid in advance of the due date, so even a late charge is never incurred. All of our banking is done via online services, so she can even transfer money from a savings account and put it into the checking account. We also have a separate account for gasoline purchases, and most of the time, a limited amount of money is available in that account. That way, if that card gets hacked, they don't get much, and the one time that it did get hacked, a report to the banking service got it all back. Our credit report is in very good shape, so the loss of a card used for any one thing is no big deal. In addition to that one card, she also canceled our membership with Costco (don't use it enough for what the annual dues are) and their credit card. The only time that card got used was at Costco.
