I have been watching videos and the ak47 and AR15 seem to be pretty fast.
But you can discern each round going off.
The SKS on the other hand seems way faster.

I had an sks and it went full auto on me 2 times due to dirtiness from ammo.
10 rounds sounded like BBZZT.
I have seen full auto AR15 5.56 POP,POP,POP 3 rounds in about the time the SKS finished 10.

Just stating things I notice.. I was looking on ways to increase rate of fire in the AR15 ,
I think I came up with lighter buffer and adjustable gas block.

Yea I figured I sound like a doofis.

Getting off the Full auto .. just wondering what can be done to the AR15 to increase rate of fire in semi auto mode.
Is there a lot to be gained in messing with the buffer weight?
New to this AR15 stuff.

I am talking home tweaks not buying expensive triggers and such.
I may be the only one here that tweaks stuff to the extreme.. surely not.

Mike makes a plastic piece that slips over and rides the trigger guard, I got the combo pack, ar & ak for 30 shipped when they 1st came out.. Haven't put it on an ar yet but it functions on an ak..

OK that was quick and got quicker about 3/4 of the way through.
Going to have to look into that part.

Can you still get that piece?
