I got some chrono data but it is possibly wrong. From 1104 fps to 1561 with a different powder. With that 580 gr slug. Blue dot and AA#5 with 5 being faster. I did have the chrono on a milk crate and noticed after shooting all my 12 guage and moving to the 5.56 that the chrono was sitting on a raised ridge on the milk crate on one end. CRAP! that means the sky screens were closer together. Velocity would read higher. Yea how much higher . Well a 40gr 5.56 load with N133 recorded 3841 FPS from a 16" barrel. That can't be correct so I inspected the platform and discovered I messed up. Next shot with the 5.56 was 3204 and then another round went 3194 fps. That's more in line. So that 1500 FPS stuff could be off by % and be 150 FPS less if it works that way. ++++Something else to note.+++++ These cases are NEW have a star on them all the same bag. The wads are from the same bag and i tested different wads that are also picked from the same bag. as if lot numbers matter here. What I found was some of the cases allow the wad to slide down inside pretty easy and another out of the same bag requires a bit of pressure to seat it home. Like sizing rifle necks all different and expect good accuracy. My accuracy sucked. Velocity on some was 100 fps different and other loads were 300 fps different for the samerecipe. I tried 4 recipes. You could tell in the recoil some were faster/hotter. One load that was a complete dud in the accuracy department was 3 170gr cast 30cal bullets dropped into a shot cup. Yea I was trying off the wall stuff. With the messed up crono it recorded 2058 FPS. If you want to hit 3 couch cushions standing beside each other or in a pyramid shape that load would work well. That is about how accurate it is at 30 yards.
