Now while Biden sat on the beach, Kamaltoe campaigned, and Mayorkas shopped for designer clothes, FEMA is a non-story. Nothing to see here, move along. People are STILL dying and starving and it's a one week story. We can't have ANY negative coverage of a Democratic administration. It might help Trump, so just let hundreds, maybe thousands die, if you hate the press with a deep burning rage hotter than the sun....you don't hate them enough.

Too much of a wormhole, they're in enough hot water propping up kh to really care. They start criticizing FEMA that narrative falls apart quickly, and too much immigration support from FEMA. They would publish to their website and criticism and too many truthful comments. The best strategy is say nothing good or bad. Ignore the story, it's a third rail for the media.

Bush did more for Katrina than publicized but Harris on Helene or Milton...I haven't heard yet except she made her presence on a "campaign push" and did nothing of substance. Helene is now the second-deadliest hurricane to strike the mainland U.S. in the last 55 years, And is for the most part ignored.

I’m sure demographics has nothing to do with that, right?

Bush was vilified because he flew over the devastation so his entourage of secret service, etc wouldn't interfere in the search and rescue efforts instead of a personal visit.
A good move for the victims, politically a bad moment.
All politicians that visit a devastated area are for nothing more than a photo op to "show" they are concerned and quickly retreat to the white house and its security letting the government take over the rescue efforts.
Yeah, some get in a food line for a few minutes, but that's all-political photo-op.
Desantis actually did an incredible job getting S&R along with Utility companies as far as from California staged outside of the hurricane areas to immediately come in and render assistance.
He was a BOSS at disaster recovery.
