Bought this as a restoration project. Someone had painted the all the metal gloss black. I stripped the paint and saw where they had used a chemical of some sort to try and strip the blue. I tried to reblue is but it came out looking like case hardening. Had it been just a little better, I would have left it. I stripped it down again and retried it. It was worse. So I tried again and it was worse yet. So, the receiver is kind of a rust-blue that actually looks pretty good on the gun. I took it completely apart and polished all moving parts and the rest went into the Sonic cleaner. I refinished the wood and it was looking great until I dropped the buttstock and it bounced off an ammo can. It has a few dings which fits the age and overall look. It functions beautifully and is a joy to shoot. I ran about half a box through it with no issues. It has a poly-choke that is versatile for just about any target or wing shooting. Just in time for dove season! $250
