In general, anything over .05 a round for 22LR is too high. If that's Remington Golden Bullet it should be about $60 at most. The stuff was only selling for $120 at Metcalf gun shows back in February during all the craziness, so $150 is pretty much highway robbery. Sounds like one of the "speculators" looking for a sucker - not that there aren't a lot of them out there.

.07 a round is the common price for 22lr if buying online and having it shipped. Cabelas listed these a few weeks or so ago for 59.99 as well as Gander Mountain.

Yes - that's one of the quirks about online shopping for .22LR that I've never understood - it's usually priced higher than it is when available locally, and shipping more often than not offsets any tax savings. On the other hand, Sportsman's Warehouse did have 525 packs of Remington Thunderbolt for $23.99 (4.5 cents a round) as recently as yesterday.

I usually by from cabelas because of their $5.00 flat rate shipping. They list their federal and Remington for around ..04 to .05 a round. The 5.00 shipping makes a huge difference.
