Remington 700 CDL - Good Buy?

Bass Pro has these on sale tomorrow for $679. Is this a good buy or should I look at something different for a new hunting rifle in that price range? I was thinking for the price, it's hard to beat.

I'd probably buy one for that if I were in the market. CDLs I've played with seemed like nice rifles.

I'm new to Remington rifles and I like what they have with synthetic stocks. Possibly getting a BDL 30-06 tomorrow on a trade/cash deal and was trying to figure out the ranking system. Sorry for the HiJack.

Yeah, CDL is the prettiest one. Don't think you really get any other benefits other than looks from Remington.

Before you spent that money look at the Tikka. I think you will be surprised at how good they feel and they are tac drivers.
