Yep although technically it belongs to the museum now along with his other planes. He gave me a ride in the back a few years ago for an hour and let me fly for a while. The crash pic is when he lost an engine at Reno and the windscreen was covered with oil. I know a lot of doctors who fly and Doc Hisey is the only one I've ever really trusted.
You've obviously been living right! P-51 is my favorite aircraft of all time! I'd LOVE to get a ride in one!
