Message: <blockquote data-quote="kingfish" data-source="post: 3929449" data-attributes="member: 50496"><p>So I know there is always the possibilty Li-ion batteries can fail when charging and possibly rupture and ignite.  I don't know if using a trickle charger over a rapid charger helps lessen this possibility or not.  I have one of those Li-ion battery jumpstarters.  I had charged with  the small wall wort charger that came with it several times leaving it plugged in overnight.  The last time I charged it, the batteries swelled up and popped the covers off.  Lucky it didn't get worse.  From now on, I'm going to do all my recharging on a concrete floor with nothing within 5 feet of the charger.</p></blockquote><p></p>
