I'd like to do a little better with the space inside my safe. After searching, I see a few passing mentions of Rifle Rods but not much discussion on them. Anyone use them? Opinions?

    Never hear of them.
I have hung some rifles from the butt with Velcro though to allow more into a small space.

Check out Gun Storage Solutions. They have a website.

Thanks. They certainly look promising on the website; I'm wondering if anyone has any first-hand experience with them.

I use rifle rods. They are a great space saver for long guns.

I have them and you can stack guns tighter with them, you do need different rods for 17 cal mouse guns

They work well. Just make sure you read the information they provide. As Shriner said you need a different rod for 17 caliber. They may not work as well on shorter rifles, they suggest you place something underneath to raise them up. The handgun hangers are recommended for handguns no longer than a certain length but work well. The magazine holders are not for single stack magazines but work well for their intended purpose. You can double your long gun storage.
