Do you know my background? What I've been through in life? I've been on the end of racism. I've been called racial slurs. I've been told I have no business talking about some things because I'm white, male and straight. I've had to deal with jackbooted cops before. There are a lot of things that happen, both directly to me and to others, that make me extremely upset. But never would I feel the need to destroy my neighbor's house, or business, or any other possession over my outrage. I would agree if you stated the protests were triggered by the actions of this cop. However, the Mayor of Minneapolis from the get go fired the cops involved and started pressing for charges. And yet this people STILL protested, rioted, looted, and burned businesses in the area, for 3 fricken days straight! There is nothing, and I mean nothing, that justifies that. Had they destroyed some cop vehicles, broke the glass at a police station, stuff that was targeted at the police, I would understand that though I wouldn't agree with it. Protesting is one thing, this, this is just barbaric, let the world burn, behavior.
