I saw those on gun.deals the other day. There are several Riton scopes on sale at Gander Mountain right now. They had a Model 1 3-9 for under $70.

I think you'll be happy with the scope. They are great quality for the money from everything I've found out about them especially when you find them on sale. They have a lifetime free replacement warranty that is as good as it gets.

They do tend to run a little big and bulky compared to their competition.

BTW, anything with a mod number is the old model, and there are still some very good deals around on those. If I remember correctly, the one in the original post was around $200 give or take before the new models came out. Lifetime warranty on the old models same as current models, someone here had to return one and they were sent an identical new replacement.

Came yesterday, $$ well spent, they say Japanese glass and it is clear.. The turrets are not audible to my deaf ears but are very tactile.. Fast focus ring and magnification all feel good.. Solid 3"+ eye relief looking at the country side I'm quite happy.. $135.19 shipped, get it while the gettins good..
