He said to stay away from Walmart ammo as they are cheaper grade and not as consistant as other gun store ammo, so I tried some Winchester Wildcats with same result, tried some American Eagle with same result, tried some Federal Lightning with same result, tried Winchester Western Super X with same result, and finally tried some Remington Cyclones with same result.  So my next thing was to check to see how the empty shells were being ejected.  I figured it should be something similar to my Remington 597 and the Marlin that eject the empty shells pretty much in the same area with every shot.  Not this Ruger, the empty shells that did eject were going all over the place, some in front of me, some behind at an angle, some were kicked out about 6 to 8 feet away directly to the side, some fell out only inches away from the action, and others of course were not ejected out and were getting pinched in the action.So, what do you guys think now, could it be that extractor giving all the problems? If so I am going to get a new Volquartsen Exact Edge Extractor to replace it.  I am kind of thinking this is the problem given the eratic behavior of the ejected shells.I checked, nothing is wrong with the screws on the scope mount, everything is nice and flush on the inside.  So I know it is not this.</blockquote>
