The mini 30 mag version is great, but just a fair warning, the stocks on these rifles are pretty mediocre. Durable, but horrible cheek weld and flexible foreend. And nobody makes rifle stocks for the mini 30 mag model. However, bell and Carlson as well as Boyd’s make stocks for the rotary mag version. I’ve also reached out to Ruger to see if I could purchase a magwell with the intent of fitting it to an aftermarket stock, but they wouldn’t sell me one.Security center inc on Admiral and Dong's get them pretty regular.
Most people won't turn loose of them once they get one.
There's 2 models. one takes mini-30 mags and one doesn't.
Rotary mag models runs about 400+ and mini-30 mag model about 450-500
