Ruger from Walmart

Is the ruger 10/22 at walmart built the same as ones in gun shops or on internet? I looked at it and was not very happy with the plastic triggerguard, etc.

Im in Altus and we do not have a real gun shop and the pawn shops dont have any so Im stuck with walmart or internet.

walmart gets the same guns as everyone else, the plastic trigger guard is just the newer model , it also has some funky finish that i could care less for. so if that stuff turns you away, i'd go look for an older one, it doesnt really have to be very old as ruger just started this BS not to long ago

How much was Wal Mart asking for it?

I just looked yesterday and if my memory serves me, the blued one with wood stock I was $207 and the stainless with synthetic was 247.

I checked and the pawn shops were a joke around here. Any other ideas to get a decent 10/22?
