I have a couple of Ruger Security Six revolvers. I am replacing the sights and was told by Ruger customer service that the rear sight is compatible with the GP100 adjustable sight, but the front fixed sight is not. I was wondering if any of you would know what sight I could use for the front? I am a jeweler and could modify one if it was close. Thanks, Jeff.
Are you talking about a red ramp or something like that?
I saw a TV demonstration where the gunsmith filed a notch in the front sight and then filled it with colored epoxy and then shaped it.
