I saw numerous times when they were right in each other’s line of fire. But I get sometimes that happens. I don’t get it, when there is a guy that has done what this guy has done and will not comply just shoot him and kill him. End of story.

If this would have been a black guy we would have rioting and marching because of it. But anytime a white person is shot, whether they die or not nobody says a word.

Crossfire possibility was terrible. Command should have been seized by senior officer and commands for concealment and movement given and obeyed. They had the tactical advantage. I watched them scatter like quail when one of them said, "Gun!" I would have sought cover instead of dance around. Not an opinion. That's just what I would have done. I have an aversion to boooolitz.

Is it SOP to store extra pistols in cargo?

Depends on department policy. Some BUGs are carried on the person but become a hassle when you have to disarm as in a jail. Some allow bugout /bailout bags with weapons. Some are prohibited.
