We have a spending problem, not a revenue problem. It's already been proven that even if they simply confiscated every dime over $250,000 earned by individual and corporations (not taxed at a higher rate, but confiscated), it would only run the government for a matter of weeks. So, raising tax rates accross the board doesn't even begin to address the issue. It would be like me going out buying a multi-million dollar house on credit, then telling my boss I needed a 5% raise in salary to pay my new monthly mortgage. The math just doesn't add up.</p></blockquote><p></p>
