I have the Dillon digital and put it back in the form fitted styrofoam Packing it was shipped in when I put it away after every reloading session. This has lasted over four years and while it is getting a little dirty around the edges it still works pretty good

been thinking about making a Proper wooden box to protect it but seems like there are lots of other things that need attention first.

My RCBS 5-0-5 balance beam scale is 40 years old, sits on the bench uncovered. Gets occasional cleaning and works perfectly.
The 10 yo digital scale sits beside the RCBS.

I check both scales with several different certified weights, before each use.
