Sounds like you did the best thing given the options. My concern at this point is whether or not the boy who threatened to kill people still has access to firearms. What steps are being taken by the police and the school to insure that students and staff are safe? If the steps seem inadequate it might be time to go public and bring community pressure to bear. I hope that other parents are with you in this. Building a parent group might be a good next step before going totally public. The group focus might be overall school safety in which you use the threat as an immediate example. A group voice is hard to write off.</p></blockquote><p></p>
