I recently picked up a S&W M&P in 10mm, one of the performance center guns, already cut for optics. I'm not planning on competing, It will be my truck gun, loaded with full house loads. I like the "shake awake," feature, but if I'm in the truck on a rough road, will it be shaking awake? What do you like? Suggestions?

I really like my Holosuns, and on the ones I have, you can turn them off to keep them from shaking awake. Unless it’s a carry gun, I don’t really see the point in shake awake.
I also like my Trijicon RMR, but there’s a significant price difference.

I use Holosuns on some of my carry guns and I actually prefer the shake awake option as the optic is ready when I draw. Yes, it stays on when I'm carrying, but the battery in the optic is rated for somewhere around 45,000 hours of use so I'm not worried about it dying on me. If you're worried about battery life, you can always buy a Holoson with a solar charging panel. You also have a choice of optic colors, either red or green. I prefer the green due to being older and having poorer eyesight, the green is easier to see in daylight situations.

If you have astigmatism the green will appear clearer, no "bloom" like the red.

Holosun all the way. It will shake awake from the ride, but it will be ok because of the long battery life and your not driving hours upon hours should last you years.

I have a few different optics on my pistols. I have a Swampfox Sentinel II on my IWI Masada 9S, a Primary Arms SLX-RS on my Beretta APX A1 and a Holosun SCS on my Glock 45. Out of the 3, I think I like the Holosun the best, but the other 2 seem solid for budget options.

I have a Holosun 407C on a PSA Dagger, a Riton on a Hellcat, and 2 407Ks in the safe waiting for me to decide which slides get sent for milling. I've pretty much decided to send the little 9mm 1911, but do I send the full size .45 1911? The SP-01? The Hi Power clone?

Holosun 507K on my Hellcat RDP (took the Wasp it came with off due to the non-adjustable small size of the dot ) Also Holosun on my Sig P322 for consistency.
