I can't believe the way people want to screw you on shipping, I ordered some parts to convert my p226 to da/sa from TopGun Supply and they charged me $9.95 for a small flat rate box that costs $5.80. Then I wanted to purchase a grip for the gun at Hogue, and they want to charge $10.54 to ship some grips. I encourage everyone to not pay that for shipping..

I posted a similar story a while back and got my rear end handed to me for complaining. I do agree that $10 shipping for a $5 item is frustrating.

This is what I was told when I complained.

You've heard of "shipping and handling?

That extra charge is where the "handling" comes in. I was told thats what it costs to have someone wrap and package the item and take it to the shipping dock, that they just don't do that for free. Boxes, envelopes, packing materials and labor are not free.
