Even years ago when the mil experimented with rent a cops they were also armed. Between truly bad guys, some dude mad because a GI stole his girlfriend, to drunks or some gangbanger in the military there are lots of reasons some idiot would try and run a gate or take some shots. Probably more so now than ever with half the population being on drugs or just plain crazy.  As retired military who travels around a bit I really wish our CCW would work on base but it does not. Pres Trump if I remember correctly signed something allowing carry on base but it was on the base commanders approval. Don't know if there was any bases that allowed carry on base or not.</p></blockquote><p></p>
