Someone was recently asking about ranges in Oklahoma.
Many years ago, I spent a fair bit of time at a local indoor range and on numerous occasions people would walk into the building with a gun in their hands. They couldn’t wrap their head around the fact that walking into a gun range/firearms store with a gun in hand wasn’t allowed.
2A Shooting Center in Tulsa has had a couple of suicides in the last few years. I still go there though
I visit H&H quite often. I have been going there on a pretty regular basis since 2013 when we moved to OKC, but I always go in the morning, during the week when there is never a crowd. I have never seen any unsafe activity there.
Pretty sure at least 2 of the victims in the original story didn't commit suicide.
You're REALLY lucky then. Or I'm hypersensitive.
If I remember correctly, there have never been more than four others in the same bay. Ten- eleven o’clock is a really good time to be there.
Lol, that's 3 too many for me anymore. I spend more time keeping an eye on yahoos than I do shooting. Been swept too many times by idgits, I guess. I like -- or did like -- going out to Henry's on off speak so I could have the whole bay to me and the old man. It was wonderful. And over, I guess.
Driving I-44 & I-40 scares me more than any of the retirees I see at the range...
