She did awesome! Had about 3" group (4 shots) at 100 yards with the Grendel I put together for her to hunt with. The 556 she was just punching holes for fun.
I put together an AR in 6.5 grendel for her to use. Most of our shots are 50 yards or less, I just wanted to take the recoil down. Have a 243 but she isn't too fond of it yet, also an AR in 6.8 SPC (this is her gun) but it has a cycling issue and I haven't had a chance to get it figured out.
Praise be to you guys for encouraging them to learn, the RIGHT way. I did the same with my kids, now my youngest (20), knows more about firearms (ARs at least) than I do...and I’d trust him with mine, as well as the rest of our family’s lives.
My 14yo daughter asked to practice some pistol shooting today, so I dropped everything and out the door we went. Shot the Glock 44 a while then she wanted a go with the 45. Do you recognize the 45 dlbleak? She actually shot the 45 far better than the Glock.
