I'm not AKguy, but he agreed with my assessment. Not all, just a sizable percentage. Every multi-use gun club has a segment that are elitist a-holes that think what they do is OK, but what others do with their guns isn't. I'm not stereotyping when I say that numerous gun clubs across the nation have trouble with the "shotgunners" attempting to control how others use the non-shotgun ranges and what types of guns are allowed at the club. All you have to do is show up with a "tactical" shotgun at an organized skeet or sporting clays event to see it in action. Some of them have gone so far as to support legislation that restricts the ownership and use of firearms they deem undesirable. I fully support the guns and activities that utilize their type of firearms. I think they're a quality use of one's time and money. I think introducing others and youth to these activities and guns has a positive benefit for the individuals and their communities. I simply wish they'd have enough respect for my rights to do likewise. :(
