You will want value vs weight for trading.
Major consideration goes to things you cannot make yourself yhat make life and work easier.

Just off the top of my head.

Bullets.
gun cleaning kits
springs and gun parts
magazines
Sewing needles. cost nearly nothing now, could you make a steel sewing needle?
medical supplies.
antiseptics
soap
antibiotics
firearms will have phenomenal value.
knives.
sharpening stones.
shovels.
saws.
seeds.
silver, old silver us coins yes. everyone knows what they are.
gold i don't see much value in shtf, how do you know its real or its %. lots of fake gold out there now. its also very heavy.
fishing hooks, fishing lures, snares.
wire.
nails.
screws.
salt,pepper, spices.
multivitamins.
bic lighters
matches
sheets of plastic
alcohol
compasses
leather working tools

The big consideration is do you have to carry your trade goods or are you home based.

Consider also that the ability to lower a fever with Tylenol, treat an infection with antibiotics or stop diarrhea with Imodium are all life and death without 24 hour access to medical care.

You would give anything to get medicine to save your child.
The problem is the other guy will do anything to you to get it.

Instant coffee salt pepper and other spices and a big can of bugler tobacco and some zig zags will be in high demand.

I've said it before, the most important resource in survival is PEOPLE.

No, I'm not talking about slaves, but I would gladly trade a few hours of labor for some coffee. I can't maintain my inhuman superpowers without coffee.
