Just checked the box, it's the echo 1b. Not sure what the difference is. It's probably a year old, I've had it for about 6mos. Not exactly sure when the original owner purchased it though.

Edit-. Echo 1 comes with the data cable and cover, echo 1 b does not. Hope this helps..
