As it says in the ad, the pistol is new in the box. It was unfired by the previous owner who originally purchased it directly from the seller. You won't find a better deal (approx $180 less than COPS' price with tax), especially on a pistol with the updated barrel. FWIW, I would have zero reservations about purchasing from that FFL. He has an excellent reputation over on 1911 Addicts.
