Remember...I'm a poor ol' broke cop without a lot of moolah, so please don't recommend Aimpoint or EOTech or the like. I just can not afford them.

Unless you just insist on brand new, there are frequently decent deals in the ads for used scopes/red-dots and stuff.

I've got one on my Scorpion pistol and like it a lot; a WHOLE lot. Even with my astigmatism, the dot stays focused. I LOVE the motion activation, and the dot auto returns to the previous brightness setting. Basically, when I'm busy being a New Operator to This Theater, it will be easy/quick to action.

It seems solid, the zero didn't shift, three different shooters including my kid had no trouble picking it up and putting good hits on mean old Mr. Paper. I believe SIG manufactures these and their other optics in house and between this optic and their ammo, I'm quite impressed with their non firearm products.

We'll see about the battery life claims, but if that's true....this thing is a winner of the highest order for the price. And that includes my Vortex SPARC 2 that I have been perfectly happy with.
