Hello all,
I'm needing to sight in a 270 for this weekend. My big question is do I trust a 30 yard sight in for up to 100-150 yd shots? I can go to H&H and sight it in and use their 30 yard range and use their ballistic figuring software to make sure I'm good. or do I spend the extra time driving out to lexington wma range? If the 30 yard is as good as the actual 100 yard range then I'll forgo it but if its just a guess at the longer distances I'll go out the lexington.

Thanks

Shaun

Drive to Lexington. There are too many variables that can be hidden at short ranges like H&H. Good place to put it on paper, but shoot the actual distance IMHO.

I sighted in a 308 using h&h software at 30 yards and was about 4 Inc high when I shot it at 100. BTW Wilshire gun has a 100 yard indoor range
