Looking for a NO LOCK model 442 J frame in .38 Special +P.

You can get a brand new one for less than $350 at a S&W LE dealer. That's less than many will want for a used one. Of course, you can't wheel & deal that way.

Yeah, Bud's has them for $350 shipped, I just wanted to see if a local had one for about the same scratch.

That keeps me from having to do yet another 4473 and pay my dealer yet another 20 bucks. I'd rather spend that on a box of ammo.

He loves to see me come in.
