So are Meers's Burgers worth the trip..?

It's OK for a road trip,actually I think it used to be better before all the longhorn and tour buses showed up.

Haven't been there yet, last time we went to the refuge it was completely packed, so we just went to Ken's Steak and Ribs in Amber. I was not disappointed, the food was amazing.

Yeah its pretty good. Personally, I like the meat there better than most burger places you go to now days. The crud most use now days has up to 15% water added and you call it juicy. Call me a food snob but I butchered thru college and cant stand the chub hamburger we use to sell people in grocery stores. Meers gets packed on saturdays tho.

Worth the stop if in the area. Special trip? Not in my opinion.
I really like their bacon but I heard they quit selling it. Can anyone confirm?

Wouldnt drive that far for a burger, when the ones at Lazy Fisherman just down the street are Great.

I got drawn for an elk hunt on the refuge so I'll be down that way anyway, probably staying at a motel in Lawton. I'll have my uncle and cousin from out of state with me to help, and I was wanting to take them somewhere cool,..let them experience something different.
