I've decided that the SA milspec stainless will be my next 1911.

-ZERO- Had a couple over the years, but now, none. My first was a Remington Rand and then I had a Colt Combat Commander. Never really cared for them.

One right now. First was a military frame with a civilian slide, the second was one of the first "new" Springfield Armory 1911A1s complete with plastic grip panels. I could never find one exactly the way I wanted it so I built my own. Stainless Essex frame, stainless unmarked AMT ribbed slide with adjustable sights, national match barrel and all the other parts I wanted. Did all the fit and finishing myself and it shoots great. Building your own is defiantly not for everyone, but if you can, go for it. Well worth the effort.
