I turned a knob the other day and welded it on... Here are some pics. I made it ridiculous big... kinda as a joke. lol

I think I am going to turn it down a bit, make the groves deeper and hollow it out a bit more. Also going to have my buddy bead blast it. Then I'll blacken it and the bolt with caswell stainless blackener. Whatcha think?

it looks like a 20mm socket hanging off of a bolt handle.

It's like 1 1/8" x 1 3/4". Just the knob itself... hehehe. I'm gonna turn it down to about 1" x 1 1/2" or 1 1/4" I think. That'll be about right. Lighter too... It weighs about 8 or 10 ounces. And I drilled a 3/4" hole about 3/4" Into it... lol too heavy

It looks like a damn shifter! Scale it down a bit and I'm sure you will have plenty of people asking for bolt knobs.

I'm pretty happy with how it turned out... Even though it's not done. It still has that factory curve to it, I think I might heat it up and bend it straight. Here is another pic

Hot Rod Shift Knob

Thread that sucker to a common shifter thread and pick your shift knob. Might want to be sure you have enough length of the bolt handle to allow the knob to clear the scope.
