We ahve nest cameras and are very happy with them, the quality of the pics and the overall costs. If that property was mine and I had those potential issues I'd camera up the back yard with 2-3 cameras as well as 2-3 in the front especially covering the driveway, front door and any sidegates or front windows facing the street. Since you have what looks like a nice 6' fence around the back yard I'd find a way to mount some lights on either some tall steel poles with romex run up the middle with some good flood lights covering the entire area beyond the fenceline. Or are you able to put one or two big hardwired lights on the roof facing the back yard that are on when you want them to be on or on some sort of motion sensor? If i have dudes the next street over doing armed burlaries on cars, the next target are the homes. I wouldn't rely on solar lights to deter them from my property. I'm going full 120v hardwired and cameras. When you say armed burgler looting cars in drive ways are you talking guys with pistols on hips or AR's across their chests?
