Adjustable trigger weight? Where do you adjust it?

I'm not that knowledgeable on 1911 pistols to be honest. It has a Allen screw head inside the trigger itself and the gun shop guy told me that is how you adjust the trigger pull.

Actually that is the over travel adjustment screw.

Sadly Joel, I think you're right... That's what happens when I don't ever buy 1911 pistols and don't know a thing about them. What is that trigger screw for? I want to update the ad.

I edited my post above to clarify...it adjusts the amount of overtravel. Usually it should be left alone unless you have good reason to fiddle with it. You can cause your gun to not work if you screw with it. (Pun intended).

Worse still, You can damage the sear and make the 1911 unsafe. Carry on, nice price.

Have you tampered with said screw? It should be left factory set.
