Two Milt Sparks came in today. Long wait on those but I’m partial enough to have spent the big-bucks on six of them. They hug the belt-line so well.

Still debating the tooled leather on two of the S&Ws. A member here, Bret Collier, made almost as many holsters for me as the Milt Sparks in this photo. I asked him for the two tooled but I’m starting to gravitate towards plain-is-better. May consider selling the tooled and replacing them with Bret’s plain leather with simple border. There are two of those plain w/simple border in this photo. The nylon holds a Ruger MarkII. I’m certain I’d prefer leather there but have not seen a leather holster I like for one of those. If you have a handsome one, post a picture.

There are five stag grips in the photo. Sure like those! I liked the Stag with a little bark so much I’m gonna sell my 1911 Giraffe grips. They looked great on the Rock Island but I wanted to match the Sig since both were in .45. The Staccato may stay as is. If anyone has theirs in leather that they really like, post a picture of it too.

I have always preferred basketweave instead of plain or western tooling. Brown basketweave just makes a statement I had both black basketweave and Black Corfam as duty rigs. I preferred the basketweave as it did not show the scratches of normal patrol duty.

Agreed

Lost a few pounds so ordered a brand new Safariland leather 1.75” gunbelt

Sheesh - been a while since I broke in a new belt — and was a reminder that while I may have lost a few, I need to lose a few more. Kudos to them for not falling in with the new “expanded American sizing” as the 38 is actually a 38 -

But back on topic, I really need to pair that belt with a holster like this for the 3” L Frame I purchased from another OSA’er last week

I recently picked up these 4 items, all El Paso Saddlery, for my Coonan .357 Magnum Automatic. I found that any of my Colt 1911s also fit perfectly so I have multiple options. I would not normally opt for the floral carved style, but it was a package deal, and the mag pouch and holster obviously match.
