In fact, there have been many events like that over the past few years. I don't know if what happened is right, wrong, PC or whatever, but this wasn't a 'new' or isolated issue. Also, the group had more supporters than just the football team, including graduate students, graduate staff and faculty. I'm not a fan of people losing their jobs each time someone isn't unhappy, but this group staged a peaceful protest and affected change. I'm happy it went that route instead of some of the other ways people have 'protested' lately.</blockquote>
