Something happened to my Single six....

I picked this gem up for right around $400, little high but for a 1985 with both cylinders I just had to have it. After all 85 is my birth year and I've been on a roll with buying 1985 year model guns.

Anyway something tragic happened to it after we got home!

Oh no! It lost like 3"!!

That's what I was after though, I wanted a shopkeeper size with the ability to swap cylinders and shoot 22 mag plus adjustable sights. Now with a barrel that's 3.75" I have just that. Plus i have a Birdshead grip frame on the way to fit to it too!!

Even modded a old Bianchi holster for it!

Not a fan of the birds head grip, but I think if it works for you, rock it.

True about the value, but the box isnt original to the gun, and it's not a pre transfer bar so it's really just another gun to me, plus I have another 6.5" 22 single action that's got more sentimental value.

A shopkeeper with adjustable sights is perfect and will make a handy woods gun to boot. I like it!

Thanks guys, I'm really happy with how it is turning out. Nice thing is I'll have both grip frames for it too and they swap out easy
