There is a scene in The Dirty Dozen where all the convicts are in there hut in the training camp. On the radio is a song in German. Female vocal. The Charles Bronson character semi translates the song and says it is woman singing about the war, being alone and wishing for her husband. Cut to Saving Private Ryan. There is a scene where the soldiers are in the village shortly before the final battle scenes. I believe that they are listening to a record player. Again, there is a song in German. Female vocal. One of the guys translates it similar to what the Bronson character translates in The Dirty Dozen. Anyone know if these are the same songs? The same version? Dave
