Son's first fish on a flyrod

I meant to post this some time ago, but just recently was able to find it and share with everyone.

We go to Creede, CO every year for a week to stay in our cabin and fish our arms off. My son is a fantastic, dedicated fisherman at home here in Oklahoma. He was bound and determined to catch his first fish on a fly this past year. On the last day of our trip, he finally pulled a brook trout out of Willow Creek above Creede. He caught it on a hand-tyed #12 Rio Grande King.

Our cabin is in Bristol Head Acres, maybe 400 yards from the Rio Grande. I don't fish the river much, but I do hammer the creeks when I'm out there.
